Open Invoice Report
The Open Invoice Report shows the invoiced orders and miscellaneous debits released for the due date and vendors you specify. The invoiced transactions are open until they are paid in full.
Before you can produce the report, use the Change Invoice Status function or the Hold/Release Invoices function to release the invoices for the report that were not posted with a released status.
NOTE: Invoices for vendors that are on hold are included in the Open Invoice Report, but payments are not prepared for those vendors.
- Use the Data Filter to select the range of filtering options or leave the filter blank to include all available data.
- Select the type of invoices to view in the report from the View section.
- Select the Invoices due date from the Due Dates section.
Note: Invoices that are due on or before this date are included in the report. - Select the Discounts due date from the Due Dates section.
Note: Invoices that are discounted on, or after this date are included in the report. - If you use multicurrency, these print options are available:
- To print transactions that were entered in a currency other than the base currency, select that currency as the report currency. Only transactions that were entered in the currency you select are printed on the journal.
TRAVERSE converts all transaction amounts from their original currency to the base currency (if necessary), then prints all transactions on the journal.
- Select whether to expand all of the vendor's open invoice list using the Expand All check box. If you do not mark Expand All, you will have a plus (+) sign next to the vendor, when you preview the report. When you click on the plus (+) you will see all the invoices for that vendor that meet the selection criteria.
- Select, if applicable, the Banded Rows check box to highlight alternating lines on the report to make the report easier to read.
Note: Use the System Manager Print Preferences function in the System Manager>Company Setup>Business Rules function to define the default setting for this check box. You can then override this default when you print the report. - Click a command button to
